Introduction
There are many ways to immigrate to Australia, mainly skilled immigrants, business immigrants, employer-sponsored immigrants, spouse immigrants, etc. The following is a brief introduction to these types of immigrant visas:
Skilled Immigration:
The Skilled Immigrant Visa is primarily intended for applicants who work and live in Australia by meeting the scores required by the Point Test System. Applicants must choose a career that suits them from the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) provided by the USCIS and score according to different options. Applicants must meet at least 65 points to meet the visa application requirements.
Employer sponsored immigration:
Employer sponsored immigrant visas include 186 visas and 187 visas. Includes three categories (Stream): The Temporary Residence Transition stream is for applicants who have already held a 457 visa and have worked for their current employer for more than 2 years, and the current employer intends to provide a permanent position. Apply directly to the Direct Entry stream for applicants who already hold a 457 visa but have not worked for an employer for more than 2 years. Applicants can work in Australia but have not held a 457 visa for the last 2 years. The applicant can also be an overseas applicant. The Agreement stream applies to applicants who have obtained employer sponsorship through a labor agreement or a regional immigration agreement.
Spouse immigration:
Spouse immigrant visas include future marriage visas and spouse visas. Future Marriage Visa applies to overseas applicants entering Australia and their fiancé (wife) to marry. The future marriage visa is a temporary residence visa and is valid for 9 months (multiple trips to Australia during the period). Applicants must apply abroad. After obtaining this visa, they will enter Australia and marry their fiancé (wife) for 9 months, and then they can apply for a spouse visa.
The spouse visa is divided into two phases: a temporary spouse visa and a permanent spouse visa. Applicants who have obtained a temporary spouse visa for two years can apply for a permanent residence visa.
